Scrapbusting Ideas: Small Projects {No Scrap Left Behind}

Scrapbusting Ideas: Small Projects {No Scrap Left Behind}

While discussing the immense size of our scrap stashes, Rebecca (Hugs Are Fun) and I came up with the idea behind the No Scrap Left Behind Challenge. We would love if you joined us and sew through your stash!

No Scrap Left Behind Challenge

We have 6 project categories planned for the year (1 every two months.) The first month, we will begin by announcing our category and each sharing either a round-up of project ideas or a tutorial related to the particular category. The following month, we will each share the projects we made and include a link up for you to share your scrapbusting project too!

We decided to keep it pretty open with our first category: Small Projects

Small Scrapbusting Projects - No Scrap Left Behind

I put together a few project ideas and free patterns for scrap busting small projects that caught my eye:

In addition to all the fun projects above, Rebecca wrote an awesome tutorial on making your own patchwork panels to use in place of fabric in your patterns. She uses 1.5″ squares of fabric … perfect for scrapbusting! I’ve seen some really fun patchwork felt ideas and can’t wait to try it myself.

And, if you’re looking for even MORE scrapbusting ideas, check out my scrapbusting Pinterest board where I regularly post favorite projects that catch my eye.

Jump in and join us this year in sewing up our scraps! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #NoScrapLeftBehindChallenge when you share. We can’t wait to see what everyone creates!
